SHR treatment significantly increases therapy speed, accelerating the entire process. The repetition frequency of the SHR device reaches up to 10 Hz, meaning the applicator can emit up to 10 pulses per second.

This process heats the dermis (inner layer of the skin) to the required temperature, which damages the hair follicle and prevents further hair growth. At the same time, integrated skin cooling protects the skin surface, minimizes the risk of pain or injury, and enables effective and safe treatment without discomfort.

How many IPL SHR treatments are needed?

The number of treatments depends on skin type, hair type, treated area, and individual response. On average, 4 to 6 sessions are recommended at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks.

Hair grows in different phases, and IPL SHR is most effective during the active growth phase (anagen), when hair follicles are most sensitive to light pulses.
